Naturalized Pools

The water in a pool or pond requires a recirculation, filtration and disinfection treatment.

Currently, conventional disinfection systems such as chlorine, saline electrolysis, peroxides, etc. They are not compatible with this type of natural waters, since they eliminate the possibility of creating natural life in them.

During the development of designs for Naturalized Pools and Ponds, at first experiments were carried out with biotope systems that functioned through plants, gravel and oxygenation, generating a biological balance. This was a design that required a great control of the biological balance of the water values, which was almost impossible to maintain due to high temperatures or drastic climatic changes. A simple rain increases the pH, which leads to possible eutrophication of the water, that is, green water.

After many years of research, Naturalized Pools have been designed with natural materials such as river stones, aquatic plants and, if desired, fish.

One of the major problems of a biological naturalized pool is the generation of algae, giving way to eutrophication or green water. This leads to a decrease in oxygen and therefore the collapse of the pool. This is corrected with a residual HARMLESS disinfectant such as PHA (Pure Hypochlorous Acid) that eliminates the proliferation of both unicellular and filamentous algae.

PHA (Pure Hypochlorous Acid) keeps water crystal clear all year round, being compatible with nature.
